The word “goguette” appeared during the 15th century with the meaning of “enjoying” the food. It comes from the word “gogue” wich means good mood.

Then, people was used to say: goguette to refer to a festive event where they liked to be together to share a good moment for drinking and singing.

So we decided to name our women wallet “en goguette” because when women want to go to a party they don’t want to carry something very heavy. So they can use our wallet which is enough for the things they need during the party.
